As I am procrastinating getting ready to leave, I figured what better time to introduce myself?
So, hello, I'm Lynne and I'm from Boston. Recently quit my job at a grocery store and will be hitting the road this Saturday to wwoof and study permaculture in Vermont and New York.
Eventually (mid-August) I will end up in Toronto, and from there I hope to hop trains as far west as I can. Not many of my friends are into this idea so hopefully I can meet some folks when I get to Canada. Any and all advice and well wishes greatly appreciated!
I spent last summer traveling and working in Alaska, so I am no stranger to hobo-living. However, I was with a group and we had a van so I'm intrigued by the idea of traveling on freight trains.
