My journey begins

Whats up STP. I'm gonna be on a bus to Chicago from here in NC in a few days to start a journey to where the wind takes me. Any tips? Tricks? Advice? Etc?

Plenty! Have you squatted much before? Why Chicago? Stay protected, carry an easily accessible knife at all times. Got any gear?

I prefer my .22 beretta to a knife, and I spent maybe a month squatting but wussed out a few years ago, I've always travelled though. I don't do well staying in the same place too long, it gets boring. I've got most everything I need, a multi tool, some duct tape, an army bag, warm clothes, bandana, can opener, and my wits. Anything else I plan to get along the way, and Chicago is a great place because my father lives there, we've been in contact this past year but never got to meet, and I want to get to know him.
