8yrs into Nomad life. From Off-grid in NM to rubbertramping to Life on a 21ft sailboat in the FL keys. Committed to freight Riding fulltime this year. Had hopped as a teenager in FL and to save time hiking in Washington. Have a little more than 3k miles this year. Would like to find a trustworthy road dog. Seems hard to find these days between dks oogle drama and extreme tweaking gg Allen's. I can carry my own but would like a Partner. EBD now 🍻✌️💚

Nice, No road from 95-97 then out OP/Middleburg way for me.. had a flopPad off Normandy with the crew around 09. Have you ever hopped? It doesn't really matter,Just curious. I'll give u a run down of my trek this year.I was in Pdx in March now I'm in NC. I rode Uncle Pete from PDX to Roseville, met some ftr who advised me not to go through my plan to ride to SF and hike the Pacific Coast highway to San Diego solo. So a crew of 3, a euro rooftooper Yung dude a experienced West Coast Dirty kid and my ass took the overland route on Uncle Pete to Salt Lake. Euro dude went back west. Dk started to hang with some homebums and got pretty spunout so we parted ways. I continued the overland route solo until I met a group of Dirty Kids in WY, it was 12 of us including 4dogs to Iowa. They continued to Chicago after meeting up with even more homies. I did some hiking up to the Palisades and hopped out solo about 3weeks later to Chicago. Been solo thru Illinois, caught Norfolk southern from Ohio, the Virginia's and my out of Roanoke forked South instead of East/NBD. Was trying to get up Maine way but the way she goes... I'm in NC working on a Farm for the month. So I got over 3k miles this year so far. I'm gonna meet up with some old friends then I be ready to ride again probably mid Sept if you still down then I'd be up for South bound or Nola or just catch the lowline back west and back to PDX before the rains come. Who knows🍻

I didn't finish, I'm down for what ever man and I would love to hop I never did cause I'm stupid/brave enough to try my first time solo I'd proly end up in Canada if I didn't loose a foot or something. But come down hang out my girl trashed the house b4 she dipped and I just don't care enough to clean it.

In my Xanax days around 08 we used to catch CSX on the fly on Philips highway close to downtown.Im pretty much buds n suds 4 the most part now...i won't turn down shrommys or nos but with fetty these days I dont trust anything else... Anyways That's was stupid as all hell in hindsight but we would ride to north Miami and back....About 3 years ago now I sold the sailboat,my tools and Truck and flew out of Melbourne to pdx. Had a lot of fun in that worlduntil I got steady work to stack up for hiking the Olympic peninsula.I hopped lumber freight in Washington around Aberdeen and back to Olympia, before I knew the bus was free.... So that and watching stobehobo and Shoestring on utube peaked my interest in trains. I just started studying up and train Spotting. Rode quite a bit before I met other riders. I have a crew change/CC guide now if you know what that is. It's a lot safer with that. But I made it thousands of miles without... If you do decide to start riding on your own, don't catch on the fly at all. Study the yard for a day or so to see where the mainline is and wait for a train to refuel or change crews... you'll have at least 10mins to find a ride and get situated..never step in-between cars and be ready for violent jerking of the train at all times..aka Slack action. That being said I hope to meetup with you fosho. It's refreshing that you work and have some skill set. Most do not in this culture. I've done almost every blue-collar job known. But I can be happy going without aswell. If you're comfortable being outdoors as in camping, fishing/hunting and foraging you will have no problem adjusting to trainridin. Be easy dude I'll be in touch

I'm also just tryna meet more traveler ppl. Ik the shops in DC where they sell legal and legit cheap but good bud and shrooms too it's p epic
