you were looking at moving into the commune, and we were all so stoked to have you around. the photos you loved to take, especially of travelers, were so inventive and always on the way to a new process. the world offered you redwoods and yosemite, and you took them. everyone you worked with loved you, I know this. we all knew you had a future in your art, and a presence every day that we could only wish to emulate. I need to be more like you. I love you. I wish you'd come to the house in time to realize you didn't need the drugs. please help the rest of us from your place in heaven, to avoid the hazards you sounded. I love you.
