my name is alex (they/them) & I'm a 26/yo white queer genderfluid femboy, homosexual & sober-flexible + covid-cautious human bean, currently inhabiting occupied yuchi/muscogee/cherokee land (eastern tennessee).
lately I've had longings to travel and camp around a bit in the southeast (or anywhere really~ ),, any number of spots but especially by the beach or in tropical settings <3
right now i just do doordash and some remote tutoring for money, & like to drop off food at my town's fnb distro, volunteer for a local food justice org, or work on practicing emotional sobriety in a few different recovery spaces, in my spare time.
while I have the access to travel abundantly by car, I don't mind roughing it a bit especially with pals, and I'm also feel generally drawn to more unconventional practices hehe
perhaps it's best to elaborate on those visions in DMs.. but in short, i feel very drawn to boatpunk, & wont lie to you, train hopping sounds rad but also scares the shit out of me
other interests of mine at the moment... astrology, learning to knit, DIY plant care + gardening one season at a time, hoping to evolve into a 1st house lilith return inspired riotgrrl in both music taste & aesthetic!!
would love to find apprenticeships in composting, herbalism or fermentation / food + water preservation, things of those nature. also hope to one day be a practicing community astrologer, trying to tune into & share the rhythms of the moon, the seasons & so on.
it would be great to make a new friend or two, & id love to meet up on a cafe patio, for a picnic at the park, or over the phone, to see if we vibe and might pair (or group) well to explore the remnants of this dying world together <3
