Greetings established and fellow newbie squatters. My name for the purposes of this forum is Kris. I'm 27 years old, and interested in taking a trip out West, from the Midwest. I've met hoppers where I live, but couldn't join them for work reasons. I want very much to follow in their footsteps, even if it's by myself. My hopes are, at the end of the summer, to rough my way to SF, and then up the coast. I have no idea how to do that as yet, which is what has brought me here. My likes: books, conversation, far-left politics, peaceful people, mother earth and all her creatures, and walking for days on end. I hope I can make some new friends, and learn from my fellows here as I embark on this unending path. Thanks!
