Logan actually came across this and forwarded the news article. I found the Video myself afterward, and it is in the words of the Inuit people themselves. We are about 10,000+ years overdue for a pole shift. And this may be the best evidence that it is happening right now. These people are VERY in touch with their environment, and if they say something is not right, I would be inclined to believe them.

Earth has shifted"-Inuit elders issue warning to NASA and the world

Inuit elders say the earth has shifted, tilted or as they put it, "wobbled" to the north and they all agree "Their sky has changed!" They say it is becoming increasingly hard to predict the weather, something that is a must in the Arctic.

The Inuits are indigenous people that inhabit the arctic regions of Canada, the United States and Greenland and throughout history their very lives have been dependent on being able to correctly forecast weather.... and they are warning NASA and the world that global warming isn't the cause of what we are seeing with extreme weather, earthquakes and other events.

Inuits believe their lives have been affected by a shift. The elders who were interviewed across the north all said the same thing, their sky has changed. The stars, the sun and the moon have all changed affecting the temperature and even affecting the way the wind blows. It is becoming increasingly hard to predict the weather, something that is a must on the Arctic.

The earth has shifted, tilted or as they put it, "wobbled" to the north and they all agree "Their sky has changed!"

The elders maintain the Sun doesn't rise where it used to, they have longer daylight to hunt and the Sun is higher than it used to be and warms up quicker than before. The elders who were interviewed across the north all said the same thing, their sky has changed.

The stars the Sun and the Moon have all changed affecting the temperature, even affecting the way the wind blows, it is becoming increasingly hard to predict the weather, something that is a must on the Arctic.

The elders all agree, they believe the Earth has shifted, wobbled or tilted to the North.

In an article in The Big Wobble Almanac, and in a video, we see some of the extreme weather events being attributed to this "wobble."

In the article it states that NASA scientists and experts are "worried" by the information the Inuit Elders are providing for them.

folks who know me have my #.
It's important to put the observations into context..

what might be being seen are atmospheric effects.. any *actual* precession that could be observed without instrumentation would:
1) be known & reported all over the world by amateurs, professional organizations & telecom/sat operators..

& 2) result in fucking major, major, major earthquakes..

What i think they are probably reporting are (at least):

- optical aberrations induced by atmospheric thermal change (including temperature, humidity & particulates)

- variations in the electromagnetic components of the upper/far upper atmosphere.. (ionosphere, stratospheric water vapor, etc.).. the ozone holes are still an item to plug into considerations of high north & low south latitudes..

what i would think is that the elders are reporting changes in weather patterns & migrations which would normally occur during seasonal ascension of various stars & major weather patterns..

seals might migrate northward in spring, followed by bears (just an assumed example), when, say, Sirius rises after the first full moon following equinox.. but if the migration begins to occur *before* that, then as a whole system of astronomic & environmental relationships, the stars *appear* to be wobbling, because they no longer coincide with the suddenly induced weather changes..

the stars themselves are definitely not *positionally* altering within the range of individual human perception.
That's just how it is.

variations in brightness are another issue.. those *may* be observable, & it would be nice to have generational data reaching back into the far past, with some sort of correlating physical record.. ice cores, sedimentation samples, etc., because then we'd have some really good data for stellar evolutionary models.. one of the main things would be to see how Betelgeuse has been behaving for the past 10,000 years.. that fucker is a supernova waiting to happen, & when she lights up, we'll have about 1 extra day of solar radiation dumped into our atmosphere over the course of about a week.. *that* will be a ****HELL**** of a weather event...

in any case, any sudden changes reported in recent oral traditions regarding stellar positions should *not* be used as indications of *any* changes whatsoever regarding celestial geometry.. as fucked up as what we have done to the world with our science is, it is the very fact that we can fuck things up so *well* that pretty well much proves 'science' is pretty spot fucking on when it comes to observing & describing large scale processes..

They are Inuit, first people, ancient & their observations are deserving of valid consideration as observations of the stars themselves..
but like any other data, it *cannot* be weighted in favor of piety, political inclinations, wish-listing, or the disposition of anti-science..

just making this point, because if you start saying "the Inuit say the stars are changing!!" but NASA, the Royal Astronomical Society, etc (see a list here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronomical_society ) don't report such a thing, you immediately invite ridiculous & unfounded conspiracy theories (remember the old Face on Mars back in the 80's??), really, really, really bad crack-pot science, panic & hysteria mongering, & worst, really bad conclusions that only *ignore* the actual causes of the problems..

What the Inuit are giving us is primary source historical data, & *that* is something that *cannot* be ignored..

It came to be known, after the 2004 Indonesian tsunami (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Indian_Ocean_earthquake) that a number of locals fled to the hills because of oral history: "When the water recede beyond where you can see them, they will return to destroy the land, so flee".

If that tradition had be kept intact, & used as a basis for early warning, thousands & thousands could have been saved..

anyways..

a very interesting post, Thorne..
of course, being just native americans, we can be rest assured the republicans will either dismiss it outrightly or distort it completely..

Thanks!!

The conspiracy sites have been going nuts on this for a while now - from the earthquakes (aside from those they say are due to fracking if the smallish quake is in an area not known for being on a quake plate fissure) to the mass die offs of animals (aside from those that are being blamed from Fuku in Japan) and other unexplained stuff. One guy specializes in quakes, another in solar flares, etc - Just a lot of doom and gloom. hehe

btw - this is an interesting app

Oh and I forgot about the blood moon tomorrow night. Some say it's a sign of something big to happen ...
