greetings and salutations
My name is Red, i am from Vallejo CA, i have been living in Bradenton, FL since 1998.
after nearly 14 years in this humid, unfriendly police state, and a few thousand sleepless nights reading Beatnik books i have decided to break free from social norms and start a semi-nomadic life as a starving musician/writer. I dream to get involved in the music scene, and start an independent ZINE.

life around here is as follows; Get up, shit, eat, work, sleep. and most if not all jobs are service-oriented.

is it crazy to denounce the middle class?
to discard many possessions and amenities to pursue ultimate freedom?
maybe so..
but have not many others, with far less morals than I, made the same choice?
and succeeded?
If the Beatniks can do it, then so can I

With all the news coverage & political pandering, I think the middle class has become the new upper class.
I say more power to ya!
I personally would be conciderd lower class. Both socially & economically. So I really didnt have much to "miss" when I moved n2 my van. It's not so bad once U take that first step. Good luck, Cuz.
