My name is zee. Greenhorn here. Never been out on the road, and after long, long contemplation, I've decided I better do it. My plan is to hit the road in early August and not look back for a while. I'll be leaving out of the Baltimore area, and any tips or suggestions are welcome. Happy to meet all of you.

Good luck.. If you don't have an automobile, and trains don't work out, you might look into bicycle touring as an option.. It's efficient and generally under the government radar. It's hit or miss, but sometimes you can find cheep kit on craigslist.. Again, good luck..
