Hello, my name is Sam! I am from Tucson, Arizona. A more experienced traveling punk friend of mine pointed me to this site to try connecting with others and stuff. I've been really interested in going out and just doing things. Idk what specifically, I want to explore and meet odd and outsider types of people, and hopefully help people along the way. I think the idea of getting a job and being expected to partake in work and having a "typical life" seems pretty boring and just depressing. I am also neurodivergent as fuck lol. I hate the Internet too, I know the way I talk makes it hard to tell haha, but I was raised on it and it has been pretty bad for my overall happieness.

I guess I am just hoping to meet people and make friends and have fun. Life seems like it sucks for most people, and it will probably still be shitty in a lot of ways for me, but I at least want to try to live life the way I choose and would make me happy, even if I fail and it backfires spectacularly. That's all, I guess!

I usually am a person to do that, I guess I was just tired today. It would have at least been a bit more interesting. I kinda feel I am a boring person in general though, I don't do much and I have always just felt like an isolated outsider in general.

I'm doing alright, I guess! I have a disabled job program to finish up that my parents convinced me to do, and it really hasn't been fun, mostly a lot of sitting around in an office space which has gotten harder and harder to focus on. And because it is a disabled job program, they are free to pay me less than minimum wage!

The main enjoyable things I've done were volunteering at a food bank, which I'd happily do for free cause I enjoy helping people, and learning a bit with metalworking. I'm just hoping to get through this last week so I can complete my next payment, then I'm done, because office work is agonizingly boring.

But yeah, I realize I need some money on me for supplies, to travel, and I don't have a whole lot right now, so I'm seeing how much I can scrounge up through doing this and selling things I can.

I am also staring down the potential of office work, and I think I would rather run head first into a brick wall, with only a bucket on my head. I really enjoy being a waitress/bartender. That’s where I really excel & come out of my shell.

I’m not cool with someone paying you less because of a disability. I also have a disability, and it’s one they can hide away by putting me in a corner, facing a wall, not exposed to the delicate, fragile public who would surely lose their minds if someone they deem lesser than them was speaking to them. Can’t have that. If you feel like naming & shaming, we’re all ears.

Metal working is so….metal! I’d love to work with metal. I’ve been playing around with wood carving, but timber shortages can make it an expensive hobby. I don’t have access to equipment like table, circular saws, etc. But I do my own sewing and have been playing with studs & spikes on clothes. Makes me want to make my own.

Got to find something to do with my hands. Idle hands are awesome and the devil’s…something-something. Right? Think that’s how it goes.

Recently it has been a lot of 80's and early 90's death metal and grindcore. Stuff like Pestilence, Napalm Death, Massacre, and Morbid Angel.
