So in companion planting;
The corn provides a structure for the beans to climb, eliminating the need for poles.
The beans provide the nitrogen to the soil that the other plants use.
The squash spreads along the ground, blocking the sunlight, helping prevent the establishment of weeds and the prickly hairs of the vine deter pests.
So.. from this to personality metaphors, what are the roles exactly?
Corn sounds like a supportive person. One to carry the weight of others. The umbrella when the weather is tough. Cool, calm and collected in times of distress.
Beans would be what.. like team players yeah? They put the whole community first. Also providers I guess right? I imagine that could be providing anything that others need or appreciate. From food/clothing/shelter to knowledge etc?
And what's squash? Sounds like a protector keeping the weeds and pests in line. Maybe that's like regulating obnoxious oogles, sticking up for anyone being fucked with by others? The type to clean up after not only themselves but others as well.
Am I doing this right? I'm trying to understand it but there's nothing coming up online for "bean corn or squash punk"
