As a welder I also play with electricity for fun. And money!Im some random guy on the internet who plays with electricity for fun and has a desire for travel.
Now If you give me something conductive to play with we'll have a great time.
I don’t know if this question is directed towards me or the log? But I’m happy to talk about welding to anyone that is interested in it as well.
I personally deal with electronics but I have some experience with electrical in homes all non formal though I'm self taught in regards to electronics and I am apparantly super intuitive when in comes to computers and circuits (a few people I know have said this)I play with electricity too, what is your depth of knowledge or interests, specifically?

No but I've been planning too I have some ebooks on the stuff I've been meaning to readHave you ever messed with automotive ECM/ECU's?
I’d say for your money your best bet is the little Lincoln 140 amp weld pak that they sell at Home Depot. They’re around 500$ and they run great. Also they can do solid wire as well as flux core. The miller equivalent is nicer but is more expensive.Looking for a mig welder, something mid range. Just for basic projects around the shop, what do you recommend?
