Nice to meet you all! Lots of useful info on this site... but can anyone help me out with a few questions? I'm hopping out of Tucson going west tomorrow/the next day, and am still trying to find a good catch out point. Anyone know of one? And while going through the site, I found a lot of posts about how there's infrared/x-ray vision cameras the border patrol use near Yuma, is this true? Has anyone found a way to get around this? If you prove you're American, will they just let you go? Any information would be greatly appreciated, and I look forward to seeing some of you on my travels!!

Sometimes they let you go, sometimes you go to jail. Welcome to train riding. Look at the figure it out for yourself thread and you should be more than able to figure out where to catch outta tuscon.

your good if your well hidden going through yuma, they do slow down the train and border patrol rides up and down along the sides, and there is supposedly a look out bridge. Hide. Well.

try to time it to where you roll thru yuma in the middle of the night.... still a chance of a bull on duty but safer than daytime.....border patrol, if they see you and stop the train to pull you off, will most likely just make you get off and hitch.... be sneaky yo....
