Hello! i'm almost 18 years old and a high school graduate. I'm not going to college and hoping to start my life of hopping trains and traveling the way i've always wanted to soon. I found someone close by who has a little bit of experience and wants to take me with him on his next venture to california. (though he suggested we take a smaller trip to see if this is something i can do first)

He just went on a small trip to visit friends but in the mean time i've been researching more of things i'll need and what to bring and what the experience will be like. I am really excited for this to happen though!

If anyone has some advice in anything let me know!
