My name's Acorn, i'm 19 from a little drinkin' town called Auburn, California. I'm not on the internet often, considering I have no home- therefore, no computer 
Technologly confuses me ever so much, so even when I do get my hands on a computer I probably won't even post anything (anything worthwhile anyway). I'm a chain smoker and a bit of an alcoholic. I don't listen to much recorded music- no mp3, no cd player, ect..i'd rather hear it live anyway from friends or play my own, though i'm not that good at all. I'm a fan of the rails, my preferred method of travel, though I will hitch it when need be. I've been riding for almost 5 years now, mostly just up and down the west coast, nevada, arizona, utah, colorado, new mexico, idaho, wyoming. (west coast kid lol). I'm really not one for summer travel, I hate heat and being hot & sweaty. Carrying round a backpack in 90* weather - not fun. I'd rather build a snowman, not watch him melt. Even though, i do travel in summer, I'm on my way to a Hobo Convention in Britt, Iowa.. At least it's cooler out east. I travel with my baby Carmalita, a beautiful german shepard/brindle/blue nose pitt mix whom is bout to be two years in november. She's been riding with me ever since she was 5 1/2 weeks old- first day I got her we hopped a freight togeter. My best friend.
I was at the last S.T.P. gathering in P.D.X-(Oh what fun), and plan on going to the next in slab city. looking foward to meeting ya'll, hopefully i'll be sober enough to remember ..see ya there
