Hello all, soon to travel by bike

Greetings. Finally joined after reading countless posts over the last few days, lots of good stuff here, and cool people. Planning on taking off after New Years, perhaps hitting the GAP and C&OC trails before heading west, no particular destination or direction in mind. Really the only plan at this time is "Get out before February". This will be my first time on the road, hope to meet some of the STP community wherever I wind up.

Kubba has been on the road bicycling >2 years - and you'll see some of the people in our bicycling subforum have been out and out for a while as well.
