hej everyone, i'm Marthe
i'm living in ther netherlands for about 1,5 years now and i have to tell ya, the (squatting)scene is not dead at all! (i read this in some other threads and posts..) AND squatting is not illegal (yet), theyre still discussing it, and its looking good for us, actually! i am living in a squat right now. its a great place with huge potential (for actions, parties, useful stuff etcetc), bit cold at the moment, though! if anyone of you guys is coming to NL, youre welcome to drop by here, we often have sleeping places aswell, if you need one..!

anyway, some basic info about myself.. i'm a student right now, a bar tender in an place called ACU (a legalized squat, check it out ACU.nl , its a great place), i am a total music freak, from classical music to crust'n'roll, via jazz, death metal, krautrock.. oh btw, i am actually a kraut, i was born in germany. oh and, of course, i love to travel. cant wait for university-free time. *sighs* ....

Hi Marthe,
are you offering the place up as a waystation? There are a few people on this board who are in europe, but most of us are in the US and Canada and staying on the continent. I don't know how useful we can be to you, unless you decide to head over across the Atlantic...

yeh, the people who're here at the moment are ok with offering our house as a waystation, and the others probably as well, but theyre traveling at the moment.. i can (probably) make it official as soon as i hear from them!

and yes, i will be coming over, although i dont know the exact date yet! (it's one of my dreams since i'm 9 years old or sth when my dad showed me pictures of his roadtrips and traintrips : )

maybe i'll meet some of you guys then..??
