I am originally from So. Cal myself and am probably too scared to hop freight trains. ::shy::

But I guess if I really had to, for sure I'd want to go to the best source of advice and that means experienced people like the members here.

Its not that bad, I would say I'm more afraid of getting caught then anything. Stay alert and aware of what's going on and be prepared to wait a day or a few for your train.
