Photos Grand Canyon and Flagstaff

Hiking much of the South Rim Trails while working in the Grand Canyon, exploring some caves, and hiking the tallest peak in Arizona, Mount Humphrey. We saw debris from an airplane crash on that hike.

I really want to check out Havasu Falls if I can hitch a ride with some people in the Canyon. I've seen pictures of it...It looks fuckin' awesome.

The cave I posted was Cave of the Domes off of Grandview Trail in the Grand Canyon. It went on so long we could not go further because we did not have ropes to rappel. I'm not sure if there are other caves in the canyon yet, but like Kal said there are many caves in Flagstaff. Apparently there are ones on Mount Humphrey, I just don't know where they are at, we did stumble upon a plane wreck though. Arizona has lots of cool places to explore.

That link summarizes it. Basically in the 40's the military was doing training missions near the San Francisco Peaks and 8 men died when they hit Mount Humphrey. They have a memorial there with a flag, but the plane debris is all still there.

Went in February to GC but didn't do South rim. It was so unexpected to be there. I really wish I was prepared. These are beautiful pics thanks for sharing
