Just wanted to let you know that if you're in the SD area and looking for an indoor shower with privacy, there are 2 of them at La Jolla Shores beach. I've attached a picture of what the door and signage look like. There is a concrete stool inside that you can place your things on. The showers are push-button and you have to keep pressing it every ~15 seconds. Also, the water is not very cold, but it isn't hot either.

Glad you found those! LJS beach is a gem. Also, I've never known the city lock the bathrooms at night. And fire pits on the beach!


Only ever encountered one tweaker there.

I feel like the local vanlifers respect the place, follow the rules, and don't get themselves in trouble, so people like me that are just passing thru here and there aren't seen as a potential menace by the city.

Just a quick landmark an update post for the shower thread. When you walk/drive here you have to go through this intersection from this intersection you can see the bath house. Really clean and also the shower rooms have 2 showers a peice! Lockable stalls and are very clean! The second picture is the veiw of the bathhouse from the POV of the first picture also attached is a picture of the inside.
