Im fairly certain there are bridges that cross the panama canal. Thats not going to be an issue. Unless im mistaken any you want to transit the canal in a non water craft? If so much luck!

For real though, driving/riding from north to south america is technically possible for an extremely well prepared expedition team. Its not going to happen in any production vehicle without extensive modifications though. ThInk full locking differentials, chainsaws, machetes, winches, ropes, sweat, and malaria.
Do you plan on crossing the darien? If you dont have significant offroad experience, 180 days, and $1,000,000 to outfit your team i would recommend taking a ferry

Glad to hear from more cunts
You’re young . . .you have the internet, an inquisitive mind, and can Google.

Get yer lazy ass to work, stop calling people cunts that are simply pointing out how stupid your question, in this context , is.

I’m an old retard that could have found out that info within five minutes.
What context exactly? The context is my post and my question, if you have nothing to contribute but negativiity, discouragement, and your busted face from now on please dont waste my time with the pointless alert you bring upon me.

As far as i know ther is NO FERRY. Thats the reason for the posed question. Only available option is shipping a vehicle. Or as in most cases underground options... which may or may not include a ferry (that hopefully makes it)

Underground options? The panama ferry literally runs daily. Before 2014 you had to use a air freight, but now its like $1200 and you are from panama to columbia. You still havent even answered whether or not you are trying to drive from north to south America. If its just over the panama canal you are concerned about there are at minimum two bridges.

Is this twat talking about crossing the darien? He hasnt managed to even mention the darien in any of his barely comprehenesible postings. Only the panama canal which is hundreds of kms away and obviously has a bridge or two to cross it. He also said something about charging him, who here is charging him anything? I sincerely hope he tries to drive a toyota tercel across the darien.

Come on now - try to deny if @NotmybestNotmyworst makes this trip y'all won't be riveted - greedily devouring any post he makes here...

I’m pretty sure he’ll not be able to secure a passport, but, yeah, would make for a great sit-com, if I watched T.V.

And hey, @NotmybestNotmyworst , the Darien is not Samantha Stevens husband on Bewitched.

I dont think so. He was talking about knowing there were roads whare he was going.... but didnt seem to know whare they went... or how to get to them 🤣🤣🤣. The darien is road desolate (accept for the one highway if I read correctly) Also by my observation I would assume he dosent even know it exists. Probably cant even find it on Google honestly. As far as he knows🤣🤣🤣.... He dosent know shit but what some dumb ass told him, or assumptions he made off watching Hollywood action films😎. As far as charging him I think he was talking about;

And like I said I don't think he's talking about the darien because he "knows" there's roads... honestly I think he is exactly like he sounds, a dumb lazy bitch. doesn't know anything about traveling geography roads vehicles or the internet apparently. he's angry at the world for not giving to him what is "deserved" I'm sure.

Seriously. If he gets a passport and has a vehicle, the moneys to fund it, the equipment knowledge and experiance to maintain the equipment and a means to protect it all... he still has to do it....

Come on now - try to deny if @NotmybestNotmyworst makes this trip y'all won't be riveted - greedily devouring any post he makes here...

Honestly I hope he does do it. I hope he gets it done and I hope he makes a damn good photo documentary post about it too. The entire adventure would be dope as fuck! Iv researched it tons myself and I feel like I have the skills necessary. Just not the passport or funds to do it... I would so eat his post, like a starving fat kid gets down on a Chinese buffet🤣.

In reality he didnt know there was a bridge... like we have been using that canal for over 200 years and trading across for even longer. For him to live in the twenty-first century and completely 100% believe that there is no way for the locals to go back and forth daily is downright retarded this kid's not making it anywhere especially not to the f****** Panama Canal by himself.
Just saying.

anyway

from what I've heard your best option is actually hitching one boat from mainland Panama to the San Blas Islands and then another boat to mainland Colombia

edit: this is in reference to actually getting to south america from north america.

if your goal is to go splish splash around in a dangerous ass swamp there are probably better options
