Any must see places between Williamsport PA and Concord NH?

I'm currently posted up in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Been here way too long for shitty reasons. I've got a ride lined up to take me as far as Concord, New Hampshire. There is no set route and he's open to small detours (he mentioned Philadelphia as a possibility). Can anybody suggest any cool places worth stopping?

You could do Philly -> NYC -> Hartford (not much there but gets you off Ct Turnpike sooner, very State Pig infested road) -> Boston -> Concord if you want to hit cities.

In Philly, eat cheesesteak at Pat's, go to the Art Museum for the Marcel Duchamp collection, NYC is NYC, Boston is a shit-hole but many like it (weed is legal in Mass, tax on recreational is high though).

Or do a more direct and rural route, pick up I-84 in Scranton and stay on that til Hartford, then same as above.
