Question Any ideas for the cold winter

If you don't have cold weather experience and proper clothing (wool) and gear go south asap. I am in NE Ohio and have e lived outdoors for a few years and it can really suck when the Temps drop. Last winter we barely survived -15f and that was with 6 heavy wool blankets and wiggys sleeping bag inside a 3' thick debris hut. The cold can be brutal. Respect mother nature

last nights stealth camp where I piled up around 12" of debris and threw down my poncho then sleeping bag on top. The Temps dropped down to 23f in NE Ohio. Camp was located off the Greenway metro park bike trail.

Use a dog as a bed warmer and protection.
