co-op

i just moved out of the bay because my rent was over $1000 a month (considered a steal there by most conventional standards there). but screw that. I want to live there (my bandmate is there as well as all of my artist contacts and friends) and I can't afford/don't want to live there...

Even trash like me can have some nice things, or so it seems. When we went over the terms and legal stuff (way too early in the morning) even I could point out all the ways they could screw us over and things that didn't make sense but we're just supposed to trust them not to mess anything up...

Nestled near the northern edge of the UC Santa Cruz campus, betwixt and between the border of the mighty redwood forests, exists a thriving camper/trailer park where rad students, undergraduates and graduates alike, study and live; students who live here call themselves "parkies". More ephemeral...

I kinda inherited a house on 7 acres in K.C. MO. I've got 3 years probation here, so I won't be going anywhere for a little bit, soooooo I think I wanna do this co-op thing. I don't know shit about it, and I need tips, suggestions, or any kind of info at all.
