Hi everyone. I thought I would give this place a try as I hate Reddit but there’s a great community of houseless people online.
I’m in Cornwall, UK. Currently hobo life 5 days a week working in construction and then back to my boat on the weekends.

If you are a regular visitor of r/vagabond you may recognise my name 👍

And no, I’m not Tom Segura 🤣

How's boat life in Cornwall treating you? Hear great things about the place. Any insights to the cost of owning one out there?
It's still on the hard at the minute. Trying to get a few things finished before I can get into the water. Tbf at this point I'm taking my time as it's not the best weather.
Cornwall is expensive to put your boat anywhere, and they have restrictions coming out of their arse. Its doable tho.
Cornwall is a great spot. Busked in Falmouth for a while and averaged £50ish for 3-4 hours of playing the same old 3 improvs on acoustic lol

Cali, unfortunately.

That's pretty good. I love busking, but it's so overregulated that I'm afraid to open my guitar case in cities unless I know people or specific laws.

I'm in Southern Arizona for Snowbird (elderly tourism) season and literally made no money yesterday. Social Security and disability pays out on the first of the month, so my people were all broke.

They gave me water and food bank food instead. I can't wait to get out there again today and show off some Chappell Roan and John Prine I just learned.

What a combination! You can't do THAT at open Mike night. I still do my share of Pete Seeger and campfire songs.

Commodification of the arts is a problem everywhere, but I remember a lot more buskers and respect for buskers on your side of the pond.

I'm on Soundcloud but as an old Gnu/Linux user, I never got into jamming online during the pandemic.

Can't stand Reddit. You might check out Raddle (red frog site) for politics, but there isn't much of a housefree community there.

I'm a Rubber Tramp, but interested in sailing and boats because they are cool.

I also talk too much, obviously.
