Hello all. Names Allen. Curently housed up in Asheville, NC. Not really too much of a traveler at the moment. Tattooer/piercer by day, but I like to hike and camp and travel as much as I can in my spare time.
I've lived in some punk houses and a squat or two in my day. Hung out with a bunch of trainhopper kids/dirty punk rockers/shitheads/homebums over the years and had a lot of fun. Haven't used the name G Allin G since then but it seemed appropriate for here. Haha. Stems from my actual name, not so much as being a GG Allin fan. Although I do find his existence humorous.
I'm originally from Atlanta and I worked various labor intensive jobs for years while living in squalor and generally having a good/terrible time but always wanted to travel more and not be stuck at a 9-5. I happened upon a piercing apprenticeship which led to a tattoo apprenticeship. Somehow that led to me getting my life in order a little better, and then I moved up to North Carolina and got hitched to the most wonderful women i've ever met. Now I'm looking forward to getting out and taking the tattoo show on the road. Not quite there yet though.
For the moment I'm just concentrating on improving my craft, and taking a break here and there to travel where I can.
Anybody who comes through Asheville is welcome to hit me up for some professional tattoo/piercing work (although I know how much it'll hurt your street cred, haha) if yer sick of worrying about that yellow eyed dude at the train yard stickin needles in ya, I got your back. Haha. I try to give travelers a good deal where I can.
Anyway.... happy to make yalls acquaintances. Hope to be equally helpful and inquisitive to the community as I can.
