Hang Son Doong, the largest cave in the world!
The cave has a dense subterranean jungle, and several underground rivers... looks amazing, thought you guys would like this

Wow - that thing is huge - probably has it's own climate too! <whispers ... and dinosaurs ... ;) >

OoOOoOOo Google it - there are some amazing pics out there! Internet says the gov has put money aside for a cable car and luxury resort (there's plenty of room) to bring in more of the tourist industry.

Yea I was reading about that place as im going to asia next year around this time and its on the list, hopefully I get a chance to see it :>

EDIT: forgot to mention the gov has put a tight lock on it and only allows agencies to tour around people in the cave ex: "this year only 220 permits will be handed out to tour the cave" they are sucking money, as much as they can, for it. The cost for the tour is 3,000 dollars. I am still looking things up so im not 100 percent on this but I think you can

Yeah, it's pretty fucked, but what can ya do.
When I eventually make my way to Vietname, I'm going to try to sneak into the cave for free

Flying into bangkok to do my first international circuit in 2 weeks. Very excited, this place is at the top of my list of things to see! I think I read somewhere that they have opened it up to allow people to visit more freely (?) Either way I'll report back

Anyone make it there recently?
