What’s good in the Tahoe hood?

Heading up to the Tahoe area next week for a tattoo consultation. It’s almost 7 hours out so I’ll be staying there for at least a couple days.
Any good spots to chill, eat, etc??
I haven’t been there in almost 10 years, be cool to get some suggestions if anyone’s familiar with the area.

This seems old, but I'm tipsy so don't care. HIking the old train tunnels above the lake is super fun, lots of neat history and you can make all the noise you want in there. good for catharsis...
