I'm thinking about heading south to Key West come June and from there hopping onto, hiring, stealing, buying, some form of boat to the Caribbean. I don't know much about the place (all of my travel has been in the states), other than its warm, there are beaches, and one can perhaps drink and sleep on these beaches. :p Basically what I'm asking for is info about the Caribbean from people who have been there and know what the hell is up. Islands to hit, Islands to avoid. Tips on getting there with no cash. Camping spots. How to get food. Things like that. I'd fucking love to Island it up all summer.

Thanks in advance.

having lived in key west, let me tell you that it's going to be ridiculously hot until fall comes around. extremely high humidity. i couldn't handle it. that said, it's not a terrible town, although it's hard to find places to camp. you're going to want to get a bike while you're there.
