Stir crazy

Hello! So for a year i've been finding seasonal/temp jobs and renting rooms off craigslist. It's always great for a few weeks but as soon as a routine sets in, i'm miserable and have to leave. I think i'm too ADD to stay anywhere long honestly, i learn every back road and after a while i can hardly hold a conversation with anyone. I need some time wandering around, i feel like it's the only way i can keep from losing my mind! Still in the process of giving things away and getting gear, i will leave after december. I can't wait! Glad to have found this site, it looks like quite a plethora of information. Also, i'm a reading junkie and i'd be happy to trade books if i run into anyone :)

Ahah tell me about it...trying to settle after being on the road is a tough one.
Best of luck in your preparations and travels.

I'm new here too and the forums have been a great help so far. I know what you mean about the routine thing, I have had 4 jobs in the past year just because I get bored easily. I am finally hitchhiking out to Cali and then up into Oregon. Maybe we will cross paths someday. Happy travels and good luck!
