Squats in Barcelona?

Planning to visit Barcelona to explore the squats there. Can you buddies recommend me good spots to see? If there is any squat where I could stay for a night, I would be extra thankful for the tip (ofc ill freegan food on my own, as well as work & help with the squat). I'm a poor punk, so can't afford a hotel haha.
 
that kind of stuff is so fluid, i don't think you're going to find exact locations here. i would see about contacting maybe local infoshops in that area when you get there, and looking out for squat symbols and asking locals.
 
I've been in Barcelona last summer, with my bf. We managed to get hosted by 2 anarchists in their squat for 1 night. I don't remember where their house was located as I got a new phone from since...anyway... back to the topic. From my experience i can tell you that in Barcelona they've got a lot of community places but only a few full-working squats ( or maybe even less than just a few ). Go to this website and look for Barcelona
Go to the nearest place from you (99% its gonna be some kind of community place with outdoor bar, lot of graffities, some people dealing hash etc. ) and start to ask the people if they know anything about any kind of squat in the area. If it will fail, just find another place and repeat everything once again until you will find someone correct. Also, maybe try to look for some anarchist groups in spain on Facebook ? It may also work, any kind of information where to go and whom to ask is helpfull.
