Hey guys, Da Vinci here.

Just introducing myself I'm going to be quitting my job and roaming the US next spring (I want to pay some debts off first). As a matter of curiosity which part of this forum should I be inquiring specifically about what backpack I should get, and what gear everyone uses?

Welcome! We have actually had a lot of discussion as to the equipment to carry etc - there is a subforum on equipment with a section devoted to backpacks. I'm looking to upgrade mine as well. Have fun - I like the planning/research stage myself.
