new in town

howdy all, names dave and I just started traveling down from burlington vt. hitched across nc into asheville and have been stuck for a few weeks. sort of heading generally west riding out the winter.

done a little train hoping in vt, looking forward to getting more rides done in them sweet deserts.

in my personal life I'm a pretty avid shooter, used to do some three gun and practical handgun shooting back home, other then that I'm just your average bum trying to find cool shit to see in america while thats still possible.

I'm thinkign my next stop might be albequrque, any advice for a new face in that town?

Ive been to albuquerque a few times and from waht ive expereinced theres some parks that you can camp in without to much hassel, just watch out for the homebums and tweakers. Los altos park im pretty sure you can camp which is right off of Lomas Ave next to the skatepark. theres a few people that are always camping there. Its gets cold there in the winter though but it warms up quick.
