Hi, ya'all. I've been browsing around this site for a bit, and just want to say hi!

I'm not traveling at the moment, but hubby and I are planning our freedom! We spent our teens and twenties traveling, by various ways and means. After some serious obstacles, and crazy life turns, we are now ,and have been, back in my beloved Appalachian mountains in East Ky. We are going to keep our house and land as a "home base".

We are grandparents now, finally got the kids raised, and actually worked enough to retire soon. I've missed traveling soooo bad! We travel as much as possible, but it's not the same as full time.

So, we are working on getting a RV and going spend the rest of our years seeing this big rock, and hopefully try to give back what some of whatwe have been given.

And I'm sure it's going to be a whole different ballgame now. We are older, and wiser, and pretty clear headed now(non chemically dependent). Maybe we will be able to remember these adventures! LOL

It's been many years since either of us have jumped a train, but you never know! You just might see Nana and Pap (a very YOUNG Nana and Pap) in your neck of the woods real soon! I look forward to making some new friends!

My mámá and pápá RV around too. Though I don't think they could manage hopping a train at their age haha. You two must be some seriously cool grandparents :D
