Hi all,
I'm on here because I may be van/vehicle dwelling in the coming months. It's something I've researched for fun for a long time. The idea of being free from owing another person my earnings, or my time, is something that came up when my father passed from cancer in my younger years, and I realized he had worked so hard to give his family a great life only to pass early from. And to that, I can say I did have a great childhood.
This, combined with an "incurable" illness in my late teens/early twenties (32 now), and nearly ended up on a really bad medical path, it wasn't until I serendipitously healed from this with unconventional means that I really began to wake up to the misinformaton about what life is, and what it can be.

I have a lot of passionate rants that stem from these things, but honestly, I really am more in a period of, "more learning, less ranting/preaching", because I'm finding myself again at a point where, either things are moving and advancing way faster than I am able to keep up with my current knowledge, or, the world is just nuts.

And honestly, now that I know what is possible, for health, happiness, life, I am not willing to settle for less. Much of the conventional paradigms and ways of handling problems, just aren't okay, and honestly, seem like they go against very basic common (or is it, uncommon?) sense. And it isn't just because I'm pressing against a mainstream way of being, it's that I can see a better way of doing (or at least trying) things, and these better ways seem almost to be illegal. My career (healer) if not done in a smart way, could have me in jail.

Life is still life though, and while I am incredibly driven against settling for mediocre, while I am incredibly open minded and passionate, I'm also realistic (and inexperienced), and I don't spend a ton of time in the ethers dreaming.

I'm hoping to connect with people here, friends, and learn. That's my hope.

Glad to be here!

Yes to everything you wrote... and that*&^ I feel that verily verily.... but we may choose to continue to be brave in a world that we all can only hope to somehow save.

Thanks for the intro and welcome to STP our interesting community.

Yeah and it all keeps on changin, but, I think ultimately, keeping a focus on the important things- which for me, is nature, health, and connection, and then an eye toward better things like travel and freedom, then all the other bs falls away.

Awesome! Have you ever been on the road before? If not, you sound like the kind of person who will really love it. At first it is a little difficult to adjust, but when you approach it right and want to be here, it can be truly amazing.

I am pretty new to this site, but I have been traveling on and off for about 10 years, so if you want someone to chat with just shoot me a message. The best part about being on the road for me is meeting new people and swapping stories/thoughts/ideas/etc.

Glad to have you aboard!

Thanks man! I haven't yet which is why I'm here, and, really, to connect with others who live/travel this way too. I'm in some major transitions in my life, and this makes me all the more excited. Traveling 10 years is a while! I imagine you have some pretty interesting stories to tell! Thanks for the welcome, and I'll take your offer to heart!
