Hey all~

Been lurking about this place for a while now, figured I'd sign up so I could actually like, participate or sommat.

Basically my story is that I was suckered into buying the brooklyn bridge aka college, and now I'm up to my eyeballs in debt, can't afford rent, or a car (nor do I want to) but I fucking hate jobs? Anyways, I'm not scared of work, but I am basically transient until I can move to Canada legit-style to be with my partner, and holy shit do I want to travel while I wait in Cascadia and be able to make enough to get by.

So I may be most active in the "making a living" forum and maybe hawking shit in the black market, dunno. :U

Look kiddo, go to gigs on Craigslist. Not perminit jobs. Will help you get by. And keep your shit. Hope your not an addict. Been there done that. Soon you will be jumping off that bridge. Just remember you are here and you are worth it. Go to gigs, find a diffrent job everyday if you want. Make your own hours. You can be a painter one day. A waiter another. All sorts of shit. Help at a car wash for a week. But its def not 9-5, so whats the loss.,.

Hey all! Thanks for the welcome~

No, not an addict, I stay away from drugs. Actually pretty optimistic about things, have family that can help me out if things get really hard (hell, they have to; my loans have cosigners lollll). But other than that, I'm on my own.

The shitty part is that I'm stuck in Vancouver right now, and everyone wants you to have a work permit, even for the most menial shit. Fuck being a tax write-off.

At any rate, my plan right now is to make money with Patreon and advertising with my site, and selling plants on the side. I'm sooo temped to fly sign downtown one of these days, even though I have a place to live and have half-way decent clothes on my back. Shrug. Dunno. I'd want to figure out if that's Not Cool before I do it. Still, being deep in the red every month is a powerful motivator!

At any rate, I'll be around.
