Howdy everyone,
I am one of the newest lurkers on STP. I love that this site and all the people involved with this site. I love traveling by any means necessary.
My first question would be, I am coming back stateside in july and was planning on catching out and heading north via the coast line from Santa Barbara or LA to Oakland but upon further research this does not seem to be a plausible option, due to the lack distance covered , schedule infrequency and lack of rideable rolling stock. So my question is "Does anyone have any suggestions for any other scenic routs out of Ventura, LA or Oakland that you personally like." I am always looking for travel companions so if your in the LA or Ventura area drop me a line. I will have some of my photos in the 2010 hobo film festival you can check out some of my work here
