Hitch hiking Pictures

I use to take off on a hitch hiking trip every year. Last summer I hitched from Linville NC to Sierra Vista, Arizona, it was a long hard trip, especially going across Texas.

I swore it would be my absolute LAST HH trip ever! but, recently I have been getting the urge to travel, I am considering hitching from my present location in the Eastern USA to Nicaragua and visit a former student of mine who has a surfing business/resort there.

Here are a few photos of past HHing adventures for you to enjoy.

See you on the road.....

Hitchhiking umbrella is such a good idea. Preventing hitchhiker face is a legit concern!

Great pics! I like how you capture that nothin like getting dropped off in the middle of nowhere feeling

yeah man, they are handy indeed.

Very cool pics, theres like nothing out there, i just came through that kind of terrain, had to walk nine miles through the desert in santa teresa new mexico to town, the deserts cool because you can camp anywhere but still happy i got out

Yeah man, I love the desert and/or the remote highways through wilderness areas. I tend to camp for a few days if i find decent water

Texas was the worst for me. 2 summers ago I ended up walking about 50 miles simply because NO ONE would give me a ride. In fact the ONLY rides I got in Texas were from people who didnt live there.
