I'm in NYC heading west to look for seasonal harvest jobs. I have no exact idea where to look, but Pennsylvania has a lot of farmland.

Leaving tomorrow, going to walk across the GW bridge into New Jersey.

Thought I'd join the forum to interact with other travelers who weren't as scummy as the people you typically meet on the street.

Here's an interesting link

And good luck.

Did you know that among couples who cohabitate and do not get married that the divorce rate is 0%?

If I didn't know better, I'd say it smells a tad Tylicki around here.

Yep.

I'd never thought of it like that.

Cohabitation is cool, I guess. Two people in love, living together... It's basically marriage except better, cause it's free, right?

Only that would be ignoring the fact that the ultimate purpose of a union between two people, of falling in love, is children, and the protection and care of children. From a purely biological perspective, it's what we were built for. Everything else?- just perks.

Marriage binds two people together (or it used to) giving children a stable environment, with both their mother and father to raise them. Benefits are huge.

I thought the study was really interesting for casting light on WHY marriages are failing, or at least part of the reason.

Just did search for Tylicki on forum.

Sorry you feel that way.
