I used to post here a while back, but gave up on a lot of things. Givin my current living situation I feel as if I might try to go back on the road. I always told myself if I was gonna kill myself I'd just travel instead in hopes to find a new beauty in life. I'm interested in ways of making fast cash so I can buy a van and start rubbertramping. I wanna pick up hitchhikers and write their stories in a book and 50 percent the profit (if I make any) I make will go to homeless shelters and communes. I write, play, and go by the name Spider Cricket and if I'm ever backed by a band I'd like to call it Spider Cricket And The Love Bugs. That's all I can really say for myself.

welcome to the site? err welcome back to the site! I suppose, lol.
wouldn't you rather write a story about your own travels rather than someone elses? I know I for one wouldn't want someone making dime off of my own life, even if part of it was donated.

I suppose you're right. But I would tell the people I pick up about my intentions on the stories they tell me. Plus I'd be hooking them up in exchange for a story with a free ride, free food, free shelter and possibly free weed and/or booze. I'd probably make the last part my own story leading up to a follow through book.

Hey, so what was your previous username? Ive been around awhile too, just mostly lurking.
Traveling is definitely not a guarentee to help you enjoy your life again, i'm someone that would know, you see. Blah blah you know that though.
And about writing the stories; excellent idea. If the hitchers are comfortable you might have them tell the story into a recording device.
