Greetings

Lurked around these forums for a few years, never signed up. Always like reading everyones traveling stories, and seeing the wealth of knowledge and information on the site. Decided I'd finally sign up after meeting a couple of out North Carolina that I'd given a ride too. We spoke about traveling and trains and they mentioned STP and that I should sign-up.

Long story short, mechanic from the east coast. I like my solitude and relaxing. Travel, find work for a bit, then travel some more. Just trying to keep it simple. Hope I can contribute to this site, I've surely gotten a lot from it.

Welcome! As a mechanic, I'm certain you do have an awful lot that you can contribute! I'm pretty new at the van life thing, even though I've been traveling by other means for a few years now.

That being said, I've been paying a lot more attention to the Rubbertramping threads on here lately. ::eyepatch::

Welcome to STP I got drawn in years ago by the stories, and next the info and then everything. Welcome! There are several people in flux here and on other sites who go from work here to work there, place to live now need to go soon - and people who have a place and work and take off to go traveling only to come back to front line to repeat the above and not to mention nomadic/rubber trampers.. Lots of different situations. Have fun!
