Lived my whole life in Texas (with some time in FL). Now I am 31 and going west to hike and squat. I love living minimally and hiking. Like many, what I own will be in my pack.
However I am still unfamiliar with that whole area of the US and places to go. The forests along the west coast is calling me. The whole culture there seems so much different from west Texas. Hope to meet some great people and learn the ropes of squatting and hiking the hills and mountains.
I am glad to find this website and will begin my trek in a few weeks.
