im just reposting this from the old message board for anyone that's interested.

I came across this site the other day:

It for people who own yachts to find a crew, or people who want to travel/sail to sign up and search for a boat to sail on. It sounds pretty interesting.

That is bloody impressive. Thanks for the link; thats a great find! Hopefully I can make use of it sometime... now I know a good place to start when I want to get sea adventuring.

those posts are for skilled, professional mariners. Writing them and saying "look, mang, I wanna go somehwere warm!" is a fools errand
