Emergency responders in Germany had to rescue a foreign exchange student after he became trapped in a stone sculpture of a vagina.

On Friday, police in Tubingen received a call for a person who was “trapped in a stone vulva,” German newspaper Suddeutsche reported.

The student became trapped in the Pi-Chacán sculpture outside of Tubingen University after he decided to climb in to the narrow structure.

The 22 firefighters who responded to the call reportedly freed the man “by hand” without the use of any devices.

The sculpture was created in 2001 by Peruvian artist Fernando de la Jara, who claims to see the vagina as the “gateway to the world,” according to Suddeutsche.

The city’s mayor Boris Palmer told the newspaper that he could not imagine how the student got himself into that predicament “even taking into account adolescence fantasies."
