Howdy all just made my account and I just wanted to say I'm stoked to be a part of this place. Im trying to get from Salt Lake City to San Francisco in the next few weeks and I'm wondering if anyone had any tips. Amtrack lost my bags this summer and in them were a bunch of rolls of film which I'mquite pissed about so I'd love to jump on one of those and lay low for the trip but im not sure whether that would work or not. I'd love to hop a freight train but I've never done it and don't know where to begin. If anyone has any info I would be more than grateful.
