Sup Sup everyone.

Its me, your friendly neighborhood Parkie. My names brendon, I'm 32, and I've been off and on the road since I left home at 18. Ive been lurking here since i got out of the service in 13, and sending young punks and travelers to use the site just as long. Figured i might as well join up myself with how things are going and how much i still travel. (Guess its not a Phase Grandma). I work in and a round the national parks the last ten years or so, couple years living in the cities spiced through. I've spent time in resort towns, helping build intentional communities, do van conversions, cross country road trips, casinos, you name it. As a quick down and dirty couple of fact lists, here's the top 5 travel jobs I've done in no particular order.

1. Alaskan Fisherman
2. USFS Firefighter
3. San Diego 7/11 beach bum
4. Ski bum
5. National Park seasonal.

Here's the top 5 National Parks I've been to in order

1. Acadia
2. Zion
3. Joshua Tree
4. Mt Rainier
5. Glacier.

And Here's my top 5 road Bars, no order

1. The Lane, White Sulphur Springs, Montana
2. The Palo Verde Lounge, Tempe, Arizona
3. The Dover Bar and Grill (D-Bags), West Dover, Vermont
4. The Mix, Tacoma, Washington
5.The Stone Pony, Asbury Park, New Jersey

Looking forward to meeting everyone and trying to add some of my experience if i can.

Nice intro. I too work for the NPS. Perm career-seasonal now, probably going to Ditch that soon, if they don't start paying me more. Great gig though as a backcountry Ranger. Had my fair share of fire experience too.

I'll have to check out some of the places you listed.

Thanks for referring people to the site, safe travels, ride hard, and welcome to StP.

Dont really want to disclose that on here (bulls watch this site), but one of the more remote ones in Canyon Country.
