Camp towel

Jacket

Sleeping bag

Thermarest pad

Shitty tarp

Dice

Tattoo needles and ink

Phone chargers(one wall and one car)

Flashlight

Waterproof case for phone and passport

Small first aid kit(alcohol wipes, antibiotic ointment, gauze pads, a few band-aids and some ear plugs)

Hot hands and space blanket for emergencies

Life straw

Fire kit(storm proof matches, a firesteel, some Vaseline cotton balls, and a couple emergency candles)

Toothbrush and paste

Deodorant

This is the core of my pack. I will absolutely pick up stuff I need along the way. When it gets cold I'll get some long underwear and a fleece sweater. I will likely lose/ditch/trade a couple of these items as well and
Have a different set up when I come home for Thanksgiving.

At the moment, what goes into my pack will be about 20 lbs.

20 pounds is pretty light. just make sure that gallon of water aint a pop top. personally ide carry a bit more food and ditch the hot hands those things imo arnt worth a shit, but they are pretty light and dont take up much space. dare i ask why are you carrying multiple spoons?

I'm bad at keeping track of them. Plus I can bang em on my leg when I'm bored. And you're right about the food I will always carry this stuff and also grab more right before I get to the hop out. And I've never used the hot hands but as you say the size and weight is almost nothing so I'll carry the 4 that I have haha.

Oh shit I forgot to list my shorts and also an assortment of plastic bags. I usually carry about 5 plastic bags ranging from sandwich to 5 gallon trash bag.

like i said "imo those arnt worth a shit" meaning in my opinion they arnt worth much, but again like i was sure to say because i knew someone like you would negative rating my post, its just my opinion on a piece of gear thats so small and light weight that if you have it you might as well pack it.

also the spoons comment was a joke, if you dont get it im glad because its a reference to using needle drugs.

Dude its the internet. Who cares u got like 15hundo likes anyway. And I was just rounding it out to an even 45 jeez. And @MolotovMocktail won't say anything cuz he's at 666 msgs. And I'm having a bad day and I don't disagree or dislike much anyway. Go ahead and rate this off topic.

whoa now if yer gonna edit posts then yea it would be off topic. the number of posts anyone has has nothing to do with anything. and unless you know a hell of alot more about that staff member you just tagged you might not want to antagonize people. but now this is off topic theres no reason for this thread to be anything besides the OP's gear. i said my opinion, you disagreed and decided to talk shit about a staff member, so as far as im concerned you might owe that person a "sorry i brought you into something for no reason" apology.

EDIT:

or not, its yer call. i just dont see the point in starting shit in a thread about someones gear.
