Advice for rubber tramping with no AC

@Lee Larson, it's cool... I was just curious.

I'm gonna run something by you because they are still somewhat gettable:
The full sized station wagon, like a 1986 Ford Country Squire.

Mine has a 5.0 motor which is good on fuel, and it is quite roomy to say the least.
Middle seat folds, I can sleep in that baby no problem and I am 6ft 7in.

[*mine is used for wildlife rescue and monitoring work, which I do as a volunteer.]

Yes - this is why my van is off the road - too damn expensive to maintain, and too unreliable.

But these wagons are not too bad, and they are out there too.
Problem is they are starting to get somewhat trendy again, so that might drive the price up over time.

*edit - pulled picture after being told [see next post below] that my plates can be seen, which never was a problem before but I guess now is... wonder how one drives without plates......

You know there's plates on that car so I can legally drive it - but yeah... I see your point here, as you definately can't trust those you cross paths with here.............

I use Ryobi fans, and charge the batteries daily. Park under a tree & try not to use the vehicle for hours before going to sleep. Yes I do this on a regular basis, and get around on bike or bicycle.
I have a lot of water handy, and keep drinking all day!
This summer will be different, as I’ve just bought a 82 Itasca Spectrum, with generator & rooftop A/C unit!
Yep, finally after 7 years in a van, I really can be in a comfort zone.

I was just thinking about doing the fan thing in my G20 yesterday while waiting for stain to dry on my countertop. You've added another option to think about versus just plugging in a regular fan.

I’m enjoying the ryobi breeze now! And just pulled it out yesterday!
