Hey there, folks.
The art of the stick-n-poke tattoo method has resonated with my being for some time now.. I began experimenting about a year before hitting the road. Since then, I've been trusted to tattoo more people that I could have ever imagined.. and I've been able to gather a few photos of some that i've done over ther last couple of years.
Hope y'all get a kick.

I did exactly one . To myself, when I was 13 years old in 8th grade, in 1973 Had to hide it fom my parents by wearing long sleeves, but that was easy as that was the disco era and long sleeves were in, along with platform shoes, wide bellbottoms.

Honestly, whenever I see everyone else doing the exact same thing jumping on a bandwagon - I loose interest. Now that everyone and their brother is tatted head-to-toe, forget it. But in 1973, how many thirteen year-olds had any kind of tattoo?

Who was it that said “ Whenever you find yourself in the majority, it’s time to pause and reflect.”?

Exactly, i am so glad i never got tattoos now that they are so common its stupid. Ive seen cops with neck tattoos.

I personally have tattoos because I enjoy them. It's never been a "need to fit into a group" kind of thing. Though, many of my good friends enjoy tattoos as well, so it's always an enjoyable pass time to get some needles n ink together, and practice on each other. Really glad that they are common enough these days to not bar me from so many people, and their unnecessary judgements.Though, it still happens. Seeing cops with neck tattoos helps me humanize them more, actually. @Jackthereaper

I hear you though they are far from necessary but I never saw it as a fashion thing or to show off; I have maybe about half of my body tattooed, 130 hours I think beneath the needle but nothing visible with pants and shirt.

why thanks @dumpsternavel ! i believe i did the face, if you can call it that, first and then decided to get a little crazy with the hair-do ... turned into a bunch of jagged buildings i suppose ::joyful::

it's been almost six fkin years.. this thread has given me a hankerin for some tattoowork

The anarchy sign and the feather, the shroom, and NEVER AGAIN i did on myself. I put a similar feather on a buddy in jail too. Dont have a pic. I was pretty happy with how i turned out. Im planning on sleeving my left arm stick n poke style.

Well when I did this one I was drunk..but I thought I'd take a abian to just pass out I guess I stayed up drinking n did it blacked out cuz in my mind when I reber getting ready to do it..I wanted it to be alot smaller.. the ink was as wacked out too..oh the in contains the soot from burnt magic cards and few dead homies ashes..and India ink all bubbled up in the bottom of a soda can .anyway when o woke up n saw it I literally was oh oh no...but It works. And it's insperation came from being stuck in East saint Louis on good damn parole...I went awol on n left state...traveled east n then Bak west...but the ride I hitched the chick got pulled over n got my info ran..in fuckn wakeeny Kansas of all places..anyway..the others are r other from prison or friends

Yeah that one on wrist didn't hurt even tho it was done with single staple n a golf pencil the only one that hurts was above me knee...even my broke Monopoly ma. On the top of my head didn't hurt...

was done the first time stick poke n it look awefly close to what's that... shit..lame so I got then dude hit it with a gun with a damn vhs motor sounding like a space ship...idk what kind or what he did to the ink but homie had but it's stil dark as it was the day he redid it over 9 years ago
