What's A Bag Loadout for Around $200?

Does anyone know of some good saddlebag loadouts for my gravel bike that's good for around a $200 budget? I'm thinking the most bulky things I will carry with me will be a wool blanket, two blue jeans, and my hammock, and I intend to strap my hammock to my bike rack.

Too late I already spent like $60 on some Banjo Bros. bags, but thanks anyways.

You can always make bags with screw on hooks just put some reinforcement on the inside of the fabric. Also thick strips of Velcro does wonders

agreed, axiom is a great brand. super durable and much cheaper than the others. i got a pair of Seymour Oceanweave P55+ Panniers that have a 3300 cu in capacity for around 100 bucks.

i've seen plenty of people use the square 5 gal plastic buckets as diy panniers...

+1 for the Oceanweaves -- I bought the P35+ set for my birthday last year to up my carrying capacity a bit from my old Avenir Excursion Small Panniers, which are also good inexpensive bags that have served me well for 6 years. With the Weaves on the back rack and the Avenirs on the front (oh yeah and a Blackburn frame bag for my everyday carry shit like lock and tools and such) I'm ready for a nice long ride somewhere! Got to get on that this year! Been thinking about the DC-to-Pittsburgh ride on the C&O/Great Allegheny Passage trails...

FYI: Trust me when i say you'll need something more than a wool blanket.
Been there, done that in the north cascades and froze my balls off- and that was in summer. Get yourself a sleeping bag.
Panniers are easy to find- look around or make Em'.

Yeah, if you can scrounge up some money for a decent sleeping bag, you’ll be much happier throughout your journey. Some will compact down to the same space a wool blanket uses. If not, at least sew your blanket into a bag so that you don’t keep fighting to stay under cover. Safe travels.

I put lot in my banjo bro bags and lot of miles on them my budget always tight but that was good buy for me

Yeah, I haven't even cycled anywhere because of things changing, and that pannier backpack from Banjo Bros is STILL BETTER than most backpacks I've got.

It's waterproof (or at least water resistant), it's spacey, it can hook onto the side of my bike, or maybe even onto other things, I can carry it on my back, it doubles as a rucksack,

And best of all: The main compartment closes by rolling it and snapping it shut. No zippers.

I fucking hate zippers on most things, they're the bane of my existence sometimes. All it takes is for them to get that annoying piece of fabric the manufacturers always put on the sides binded up in the zipper, and it's ffffffucked.

If the zipper breaks, good luck getting it replaced. Now anywhere from a tiny part of a thing, to the whole Goddamn thing, is useless, all because the zipper broke.
